Terms of service

Last updated: September 12, 2026

No legal entity has been registered for this service. The operator has not yet established a registered company name, jurisdiction, or postal address. These terms are a statement of the intended operating principles. Until the operator registers a legal entity and provides its name, address and governing jurisdiction, these terms do not constitute a binding legal agreement. You should review this page once the operator has been registered.

Service description

Redirectdepth is a diagnostic tool that traces HTTP redirect chains. Given a URL, it follows each redirect manually, captures the status code, destination, and changes at each hop, and classifies each hop as avoidable or unavoidable. It does not change any server configuration, guess at your server software, or measure real user latency.

Acceptable use

  • You may use Redirectdepth to trace any public URL you have the right to access.
  • You may not use the tool to probe internal or private infrastructure (loopback addresses, private IP ranges, or hosts you do not own). The tool rejects such URLs automatically.
  • You may not use the tool for denial-of-service attacks, vulnerability scanning of third-party hosts, or any activity that exceeds normal diagnostic use.
  • You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security validation in the Worker.

No data storage

The tool does not store any data server-side. There is no database, no persistent storage, and no logging of the URLs you submit. Trace results are returned to your browser and are not retained on the server. Theme preferences and optional trace history are saved only in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device. Trace history is an opt-in client-side feature; you can clear it at any time from the app page.

No accounts

Redirectdepth does not offer user accounts, authentication, or server-side saved state. Trace history is saved in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device. Features such as scheduled checks, team accounts, and API authentication require an accounts system and backend infrastructure that is not yet wired to this product. They are described on the pricing page as unavailable and cannot be purchased today.

Billing

The following describes the billing terms that will apply once a payment provider is connected. No payment processor is currently wired to this site. All checkout interactions are demonstrations — no real payment is taken and no subscription is created. The operator will update these terms when payments go live.

Plans and prices

  • Free — $0/month. Up to 10 traces/day, basic features. No account needed.
  • Pro — $5/month. Saved trace history (localStorage), bulk CSV input, up to 500 traces/day. Details on the pricing page.

All prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically on the same day of each month. There is no free trial at launch.

What you are buying

A Pro subscription gives you access to the features listed on the pricing page for the duration of the billing period. The Free tier remains available without payment. Subscriptions do not include: email alerts (this infrastructure does not include an email sender), live integration with your server configuration, team accounts, scheduled checks, or services not explicitly listed on the pricing page.

Failed payments

If a recurring charge fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds):

  1. The card is retried automatically after 3 days, then again after 5 days (up to 3 attempts total).
  2. If all attempts fail, the subscription is paused. You will still be able to access the account but only at the Free tier until the payment is resolved. No email notification can be sent — the infrastructure does not include an email sender — so check your payment method manually.
  3. To reactivate, update your payment method in your account settings. The outstanding charge will be collected immediately.
  4. If a subscription remains paused for 30 days, the account and any associated data may be deactivated.

Refunds

Because no legal entity has been registered for this service, the operator cannot offer a contractual refund guarantee. If you believe you were charged in error, contact redirectdepth@agen2ic.ai and the operator will review and resolve billing errors at their discretion. Your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your jurisdiction are not affected.

Contact for billing questions

Email redirectdepth@agen2ic.ai with any questions about your subscription, payment, or invoice. This address reaches a human and identifies which product your enquiry relates to.

Limitation of liability

Redirectdepth is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The operator is not responsible for damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool. Because no data is stored, there is no risk of data loss or data breach from this service.

Security

The tool validates every URL and every redirect hop for:

  • Loopback and private IP addresses (rejected)
  • Embedded credentials (rejected)
  • Control characters and NUL bytes (rejected)
  • Non-HTTP schemes (rejected)
  • Redirect chains exceeding 20 hops (stopped)

Validation failures return a 4xx status (user error), never a 5xx. This ensures the diagnostic message reaches you rather than being replaced by the edge's generic error page.

Platform limitation

A Cloudflare Worker cannot reach a host that is itself behind Cloudflare. Such hosts will report as unreachable. This is a platform constraint and is disclosed on the product page.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
